Ministry Development Process

Phase 1: Leadership Emergence

A leader is identified as a possible church planter or ministry leader.

Phase 2: Mentoring Group

The leader mentors others with the goal of identifying a potential ministry team.

Phase 3: Team Formation

Identification of ministry team.

Phase 4: Training & Equipping

Specific training is provided for the team.

Phase 5: Planning

A strategic planning process identifying mission, vision and initial ministry design based on shared values.

Phase 6: Ministry Launch

Plan is reviewed and ministry team is commissioned to launch new ministry.

Coaching materials for each phase have been developed by and are available through International Christian Ministries Canada.

Ministry Coaching Process

Through ongoing consultation MCNet coaches will assess ministry and organizational health and help guide churches and ministries through renewal and transition toward increased effectiveness and replication. This is based on the mentoring and coaching materials produced by and available from ICM Canada.
